This is the tutorial of Rooting the New Phone of Samsung named as Samsung galaxy chat(model: GT-B5330)
Those who don’t Know What is Rooting and Why do we do it, Please read my Previous Tutorials.
Pros:
- Solves the Problem of “Low Memory Space” in android phones
- You can Install custom ROMs. Practically Change the firmware of the Phone.
Cons:
- If Done Wrong, Your Phone is a Brick.
- We haven’t tested it yet!! No handset!!
Precautions or you can Say Pre-Requisites:
- Take the Back up of your phone Before Rooting.
- Make sure battery is fully charged, and you have USB Cable to transfer data, in your Phone.
- Check the Following Settings of your phone, Make sure they are correct:
- Settings > Application > USB Debugging = allowed (Check box Marked True)
1) Download the Update.zip file from HERE or HERE
2) Connect your phone to Computer and Tranfer update.zip to SD Card(No Folder)
2) Turn off your Device for Approx 30 Sec.
3) Boot your Phone in Recovery mode. (Volume Down+Home+Power buttons together)
4) Select “Apply Updates from SD Card” (Use Volume up and Volume down to surf)
5) Select the File that you copied to SD Card.
6) Once Updation is complete.!! Restart the Phone, woo hoo,, U are the administrator.
Use Root Checker, To make sure you, Procedure completed Successfully.
